See Then Build setup
Connect See Then Build to Claude
Bring the public library and its example cards into Claude with a custom connector. You do not need a separate See Then Build account or API key.
Claude web and desktop
- Open Connectors.
In Claude, go to Customize → Connectors, or open Connectors settings.
- Add a custom connector.
Choose + → Add custom connector. If a name field appears, enter See Then Build.
- Paste this URL.
https://seethenbuild.com/api/mcpLeave advanced OAuth credentials empty. The public catalog tools do not require authentication.
- Add it to your conversation.
Choose Add. In a chat, open + → Connectors and enable See Then Build.
- Try a first request.
Use See Then Build to show me the latest daily demos. Include the example cards, creator credits, and each demo’s See Then Build page link.
You should receive the latest published edition and its examples. If cards are unavailable, ask for the demo links.
Custom connectors are supported on Claude Free, Pro, Max, Team, and Enterprise. Free accounts can add one custom connector. On Team or Enterprise, an owner must first add it through Organization settings → Connectors → Add → Custom → Web; members then connect individually.
Setup checked September 24, 2026 against Claude’s custom connector guide.
Use it in your work
Use See Then Build to help me turn my consulting service into a visual a potential client can understand in 30 seconds. Find and read relevant examples, show me the cards, and use a suitable reference to make a first version with your available tools. Ask for my service description if it is missing.
Claude supplies the reasoning and creation tools. The connector supplies public references and prompts. The Codex plugin’s packaged workflows are not automatically installed in Claude.
The cards use Claude’s support for interactive MCP apps. The shared protocol is supported; this release has not yet been checked inside a signed-in Claude account.
Using Claude Code?
Run this command in a terminal:
claude mcp add --transport http --scope user see-then-build https://seethenbuild.com/api/mcpUse /mcp inside Claude Code to check the connection, then try a request above. Terminal responses can contain the same references and links; embedded cards depend on the client.
If it does not connect
Check the URL ends with /api/mcp, remove any manually entered OAuth credentials, and confirm the connector is enabled for the conversation. For a work account, check that an organization owner has allowed it. You can use the website’s Prompt Builder while resolving access.
