See Then Build
I’d start with a simple visual of your client journey: the problem they bring, what you do together, and the outcome. Here are a few approaches you could borrow.

Try “Use this example” to prepare a follow-up message. This website preview uses the same cards as the chat companion; the sample reply is illustrative.
From inspiration to useful work
Instead of starting with a blank prompt, start with something you can see. The companion searches See Then Build’s public collection and helps your AI turn the transferable idea into a plan for your work.
Ask for today’s demos or search for a specific output: a diagram, explainer, website, or prototype. Keep the creator and original source in view.
Tell your AI what you do, who you want to reach, and what needs explaining. Ask it to find examples and propose concrete applications.
Combine a useful example, explanation structure, and visual style into a tailored prompt. Your AI can then build with the tools your account provides.
Your first conversation
After connecting, name See Then Build in your request. Say what you want to make, who it is for, and what source material the AI should use. Copy an example and make it your own.
Get the latest edition, with creator credits, previews where supported, and a link to every demo.
Use See Then Build to show me the latest daily demos. Include every demo, its creator, and its See Then Build page link.
Give the AI a little context so it can translate an example into a useful application.
Use See Then Build to find three visual examples I could adapt for my consulting business. Read the examples, explain what each one demonstrates, and suggest one specific thing I could make for prospective clients.
Supply your source material and tell the AI who the result is for. Creation depends on the tools available in your chat.
Use See Then Build to make a one-page visual explaining my consulting service to potential clients. Find and read a useful reference, choose a suitable structure and style, and compose a tailored prompt. Then use your available tools to make a first version. Use the service description I attach; ask for it if it is missing. Check the result for clarity and accuracy.
Useful when you want to do the actual creation in a different tool.
Use See Then Build to prepare a prompt for an infographic explaining how customer feedback improves a product. Find a relevant example and include the steps, tools, source credit, and checks I should use. Stop at the prompt; do not generate the infographic yet.
Open the result. Compare it with your source material and the example. Ask for a specific change: “Make the three steps clearer,” “Use less text,” or “Check that the chart matches my numbers.” Keep the source credits when sharing.
For a daily habit, ask: “Show me See Then Build’s daily demos every morning at 9 in America/New_York.” Your chat needs a scheduling feature and must confirm that it created the schedule. Installing or connecting the companion never starts an alert by itself.

Good to know
The companion finds references and prepares instructions. Your chat’s own tools do the creation. It can help your AI make a first version when those tools are available; it cannot add a missing image or video generator or bypass your account’s limits.
The current connection reads the public See Then Build catalog. It does not read your private bookmarks, notes, or saved drafts, and it cannot change your account records. The search terms or subject your AI sends are processed to return examples and prompts. Normal hosting logs and your AI provider’s data policies still apply.

The public directory release is not available yet. Use the Claude or Codex connection guide, or browse the website and copy a prompt. A manual ChatGPT developer connection is a testing route; it is not the public installation described here.
Follow the setup guide for Claude, Codex, or ChatGPT. Make sure the connection is enabled, then try “Use See Then Build…” in a new conversation. Your workplace may need to allow the connection first.
Inline previews and video depend on the chat’s support and the original media’s availability. Open the individual See Then Build page to view the example and its source. A missing player does not mean the demo was removed.
No. The chat companion helps you discover and create inside your AI conversation. The separate Chrome extension saves links and examples to your See Then Build account.
